Staatsbad Wilhelmsbad in Hanau
The Staatsbad Wilhelmsbad is an English landscape park that is well worth seeing. The Hessian Doll Museum awaits young visitors. The state bath is also a worthwhile destination for cyclists. There is also a direct RE train connection from the Südbahnhof railway station. The park is open all day and there is no admission charge.

Schwanheimer Dune in Schwanheim
This nature reserve near Höchst is almost an insider tip. You are visiting one of Europe’s rare inland dunes. It looks like the sea, even though it is almost 500 kilometres away. Sand, dunes, wooden boardwalks, grasses and unusual vegetation. Perfect for lovers of special landscapes. Almost exactly 10 kilometres from the Hotel Maingau in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen and also very easy to reach by bike via the Main promenade.
